Grounded in history with a modern funky twist, Palm Springs serves as inspiration for R. Design. Textures and colors of the desert are emphasized throughout the space.

Developed using the “academy” style, the design provides space for groups to effectively collaborate. Communal hubs have been placed at key locations to serve as “pit stops.” This encourages spontaneous interaction between disciplines.
'The Nest' Preschool
Nests allow young to securely experience the sights, sounds and texture of the larger world surrounding them. As young birds mature, they know as they venture forth they can return to the haven of the nest when needed. Preschool children are just as eager to explore their world; the Montessori approach encourages this attitude.
By integrating the Montessori philosophy with the concept of the supportive nest, the design provides children with safe spaces to securely satisfy their unending curiosity while empowering their growth and independence.
